Detailed Job Description:

SUMMARY 

Works closely with Brand Management and Shopper Marketing teams to understand their requirements and desired use of digital technologies as a means to engage consumers. Partners with external agencies and our Information Services (IS) personnel to ensure successful project implementations and productive business relationships. Supports the execution of website, media, mobile, SEO/SEM, and other digital initiatives including participating in the selection of agencies, management of digital projects, analysis of the effectiveness, and makes recommendations for ongoing improvements. Functions as the point person for our digital marketing opportunities. Focuses on driving effectiveness and efficiency by acquiring and retaining consumers via digital programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

- Stays informed on industry, competitor activities, new digital strategies, tools and techniques.
- Participates in the development of digital programs to meet various business needs advising on the correct
  digital solutions and technologies to optimize performance against key performance indicators; thinks
  creatively and plans strategically.
- Facilitates and coordinates the architecting, development and launch of US and International websites and
  digital media project initiatives.
- Oversees external agency's multiple projects; prioritizes, sets and achieves objectives/deadlines and leads
   others to successfully meet objectives.
- Works cross-functionally with other departments (e.g. Brand marketing, IS, or international) as needed in
   the execution of digital marketing strategies.
- Analyzes the performance of digital marketing programs reviewing results by tactic to optimize interactions
   with consumers; develops best practices based on results, industry trends, and competitive audits.
- Evaluates and reports on all aspects of performance.
- Recommends improvements and establishes best practices for digital marketing initiatives and the overall
   consumer experience to increase traffic, consumer engagement, and optimization.
- Works with organizational partners to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of the content
   management, analytics systems, reporting, and other processes.
- Utilizes web analytics software to setup and monitor promotional efforts including website statistics
   preparation, analysis, evaluation, and recommends/reports optimization tactics to management.
- Participates in the development of department procedures and performance measures.        
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory
   considerations.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of digital/interactive marketing, brand marketing, or sales experience
   reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR 8 years of digital/interactive marketing, brand marketing, or
   sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Prior project management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration plus 6 years of
  digital/interactive marketing, brand marketing, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of
   responsibility.
- Proven track record of leveraging research/analysis to drive strategic direction, best practices and process
   improvements.
- Strong working knowledge of and experience with various web/digital technologies, platforms and usability
   practices to deliver an exceptional online consumer experience.
- Strong leadership and communications skills.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
   procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients,
   customers, and the general public.
- Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,
   percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Knowledge of the concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Experience with defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
